Jane Maliszewski, founder and President, retired from the U.S. Army as a Colonel after 27 years of IT senior leadership experience and launched ISKA, LLC in 2007.

In her government career and now in her consulting practice, Jane energizes organizations to improve and excel through her expertise in Knowledge Management, Strategic Planning, and Change Management. She is a dynamic, results-driven, collaboration-focused leader and consultant with years of experience creating positive change in large and small organizations.

Our economy and our national security depend on the capacity of knowledge workers to perform at their best. In government service and with ISKA, this has been and is one of Jane’s primary offerings—finding ways to maximize the creation, sharing, and use of knowledge to create informed action. She believes strongly that strategic planning and governance programs are essential to organizational success. Strategic plans are meant to be actionable and dynamic, not downgraded to a motivational poster or sit on a shelf. Good strategic planning sets the path, informs priorities, and defines progress.

Change management is the “third rail” in any strategic planning or knowledge management process. Every change — new mission or market, new process or people — affects every organizational system. Jane’s comprehensive approach addresses all the components that keep organizations running smoothly — training, policies, leadership, and technology.
